Silver Carpet Aster

Silver Carpet Aster is one of the best California native ground covers as it has very low water needs, grows quickly, and fills in large areas or tough spaces with ease. Will spill nicely over an edge or wall brings. Delicate pink-purple flowers cover the ground cover from spring to fall, attracting pollinators and adding a subtle touch of color. Thrives in full sun in coastal areas but prefers some shade inland.
