Fig Marshall Gold

Marshall Gold comes from a cutting on a wild, old and highly productive tree in gold country. We do not have many details yet as the limited cuttings were taken in 2026. We hope to sample the fruit early Summer 2026 and will update. We will have a limited release of the fig available in spring 2027. 

Update: We stopped by this grand tree end of June and the figs were just beginning to turn black and ripen. We sampled a single black fig from this tree. Maybe not fully ripe. Flavor likely to be better in production. It was sweet, slightly jammy with a very slight floral hint. We will continue to harvest from the mother tree if possible to see if quality holds across the entire tree. Update: Needs to be planted near capri fig.
